We have expanded our state-of-the-art traffic models (so far only used for noise studies) with modules in order to calculate fuel consumption and emissions. With this improved model we can determine CO2 aviation inventories at any local or international scale. In addition to CO2, we can also determine other gaseous emissions such as NOx.
Additionally, to the ICAO- LTO method, emissions produced during the route can also be determined. When combined with actual trajectory data from our IBaTrack flight tracking system, an accurate calculation can be obtained.
