Late 2014 Anotec installed its IBANET permanent noise and track monitoring system at Bengaluru International Airport (India). This was the first such system fully operational in India and it has been working flawlessly since then. It consists of two fixed stations, located in the villages nearest to both runway ends. In addition a mobile station is available with which short-term measurements are made in relevant locations around the airport. The stations send their data to the Anotec central IBANET server where they are processed (correlation between noise and track data) and validated results made available on a website. Monthly and anual reports are issued and sent to the relevant authorities for approval. The system has successfully passed yearly audits by the same authorities.
